While the story about Reggie Bush’s family living in a house bought by one of his potential sports agents remains the lead story at Yahoo! Sports, at ESPN.com it is still in the sidebar, and Foxsports.com has nothing on the story as of 9:00pm.
This could be one of the biggest corruption scandals of the last 10 years, by far bigger in scope than the Albert Means/Alabama scandal. But then again this is USC we are talking about here, proclaimed from on high and ad-nauseum “The Greatest College Football Team Ever.” And not only are we talking about USC, but we are talking about Reggie Bush, the All-World running back. And guess what? Other than Yahoo! and the blogosphere, this is being treated as a very small story, if a story at all. All the SEC fans that read this blog can agree, if this had happened at LSU, Alabama, Goergia, or any of the other SEC powerhouse schools, that there would be announcements on the Emergency Broadcast Network.
Undoubtedly this story has caused “Reaction Plan: Delta Whiskey” at ESPN Headquarters. Documents stolen from ESPN HQ describe Plan : Delta Whiskey as a huge campaign featuring replays of all of the Trojans games from the past 3 years, dredging up all of the past scandals from the Southeastern Conference, and Kirk Herbstreit publicly flailing himself with a microphone cable.
The ball is in your court…

Foxsports.com is running the story in the sidebar…finally
Somebody sounds bitter. Victim. You should change your name from CFB report to SEC whine club. Can’t wait for USC to wallop Arkansas and Kal to wallop Tennessee in your territory since you’re too afraid to travel West, where familial sexual relations are illegal.
Bitter? Not so much….remember, CFBreport.com didn’t accept a 750,000 dollar house while playing at USC. Mr. Bush’s family did. Don’t be upset because one of the “golden boys of Troy” has finally stepped on his wanker in a major way.
Check Dataquick link for home prices in CA. Spring Valley is basically the ghetto of San Diego and like 15 miles from the coast. This new home was the nice part of the ghetto. (Homes where the Chargers and Padres live are along the coast and cost 2 or 3 million. Check the prices in La Jolla, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Pacific Beach.)
What will be proven is that his parents moved to a small new home in a nicer part of the ghetto. Not sure why the 20 year old son would know of or suspect his parents of doing any wrong when they move from one part of the ghetto to a newer part. So even if the Bushes in San Diego are as corrupt as the Bushes in Texas, their son didn’t know.
757,000.00 ghetto home huh? And can you honestly say that if your parents moved into a brand new house, you wouldn’t ask ANY queestions at all?
