Langston Hughes High School quarterback Air Noland has committed to play football at Ohio State, fulfilling his lifelong dream of playing for a renowned NFL quarterback-producing institution.
Noland threw 55 touchdown passes and just four interceptions in the 2022 season, completing 73% of his passes. He was ranked as the 84th overall prospect and the eighth-best quarterback in the class.
The Georgia native’s passion for playing football at the next level shone through when he mentioned his aim to play for Ohio State.
His coordination with Andrico Hines, Langston Hughes High School’s offensive coordinator, is reflected in a play that they discussed during a game. In that play, Noland threw an incredible 70-yard touchdown pass to Jelani Thurman, who has already signed with Ohio State.
After the season, Noland announced that he would pursue his dream of playing for Ohio State. The Buckeyes had already signed the number one overall prospect in the country, Dylan Raiola, for the same role. However, Raiola decommitted in December, forcing Ohio State to look for another quarterback.
Following Noland’s commitment, Ohio State rounded out its already elite recruiting class.
