During Ohio State’s spring game, Kyle McCord, Ohio State’s quarterback, and his former high school teammate, Marvin Harrison Jr., connected well, with Harrison raking up 62 yards from three catches despite limited playing time. Harrison has developed strong relationships with both McCord and Devin Brown, but their bond from St. Joseph’s Preparatory School dates back longer. Last season, Harrison caught 77 balls for 1,263 yards and 14 scores with former quarterback C.J. Stroud. However, the Buckeyes have yet to name a starting quarterback for the upcoming season. Harrison is impressed by McCord’s arm talent and precise timing, but he also highlighted the quarterback’s growth in the mental aspect of the game.
