Former Penn State offensive lineman Jimmy Christ has announced his transfer to the University of Virginia just five days after entering the NCAA transfer portal. A former four-star recruit, Christ did not see game action in his freshman year and played in only one game in 2021. He played in ten games last season, but primarily on special teams or once the game was out of hand. Christ is the first Nittany Lion to have entered the transfer portal since spring practice opened on April 15. He is one of several players who have left Penn State or joined the team since the end of the 2022 season.
