Ohio State football coach Ryan Day is facing immense pressure heading into the upcoming season, according to CBS Sports. Though Day has maintained one of the best overall records in college football since taking over from Urban Meyer and has only lost two Big Ten games, he is now 1-2 against the Wolverines and has failed to win a Big Ten title or national title in the last two seasons, leading some in Buckeye Nation to question his performance. While he faces immense pressure amidst scrutiny from fans, Day’s losses have all come in the biggest of games, including three in the College Football Playoff and one against a top-twelve Oregon team at home in 2021. If Day can help the Buckeyes secure a title, it could give the fan base hope, especially with the CFP expanding to 12 teams next season.
