Wayne Taulapapa, who transferred to the University of Washington (UW) last summer from the University of Virginia (UVA), has the skills to make it in the NFL despite not being an obvious talent, according to SB Nation. Taulapapa made an instant impact in UW’s revamped offence as a seasoned veteran and had over 1,100 all-purpose yards and scored 12 touchdowns while sharing the backfield with several other talented running backs in his one season at UW. The 5ft 11in, 207lb former BYU player ran a 4.51u 40 time at his pro day, enabling him to compete in the middle of the pack for his size in the NFL. Taulapapa may still be able to stick on a roster that has a third-down back need in their rotation and depth on their special teams unit, according to the report.
