Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson gave glimpses of what they can offer as Alabama football’s starting quarterback during their respective performances in the annual A-Day game at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Milroe provided a near-perfect throw to complete a 27-yard pass to wide receiver Kendrick Law, while Simpson impressed with a 57-yard toss to veteran receiver Jermaine Burton. However, both quarterbacks threw interceptions that could have led to disastrous outcomes under game conditions. The A-Day game provides glimpses of what could potentially be expected but isn’t entirely indicative of a player’s abilities in a real game.
