
NFL Pro Bowlers and University of Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame members, Dave Wilcox and Bob Berry, have died at the ages of 80 and 81, respectively. Wilcox played for Oregon for two years and then built a career with San Francisco 49ers, where he became a celebrated and resilient linebacker, making the Pro Bowl seven times and only missing one game throughout his 11-season career. Wilcox was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000. Berry held a 21-6-1 record as the starting quarterback for Oregon from 1962-64, including 1,000 passing yards in two seasons, and a career total of 4,267 yards and 39 touchdowns. Berry was inducted into the Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame.
