Bear Alexander, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive lineman, announced that he has committed to play for the USC Trojans football team. The decision follows his entry into the transfer portal at the conclusion of his first year at the University of Georgia, which culminated in a national championship victory. Alexander played in 163 defensive snaps as a true freshman for the Bulldogs, and recorded nine tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. He was the No. 5 defensive tackle overall in the 2022 recruiting class, and signed for the Bulldogs after originally committing then decommitting from them.
