Former Montana State guard RaeQuan Battle is transferring to West Virginia to replace Erik Stevenson as a wing scorer for the Mountaineers. Battle made the All-Big Sky team last season and put up 27 points in the NCAA Tournament game against Kansas State. While he didn’t have the best numbers during his time at Washington, his film is impressive, and he has been identified as a bucket-getter with the ability to shoot well off the dribble, finish well around the basket, and make good cuts. West Virginia is expected to spend much of the year in the Top 25 with new additions like Battle, Kerr Kriisa, and Jesse Edwards.
