
Anthony Richardson, a promising quarterback in college football, is working on improving his accuracy and mechanics in order to be successful in the NFL. His mechanics coach Will Hewlett is helping Richardson identify and correct issues such as instability in his front foot placement that can lead to poor hip rotation and arm compensation. Richardson is working on improving his power and explosiveness through plyometric drills, and on throwing with more velocity and opening up more towards the throw. While there is still a risk with Richardson’s inexperience, his coaches see the potential for him to become an elite quarterback.
