Florida State defensive lineman Joshua Farmer has changed his earlier plans to leave for another team by reversing his decision to transfer. After receiving offers from schools across the country, Farmer decided to instead stay in Tallahassee by citing family, his love for the football program, and a desire to lead the team to success. Farmer has valuable experience as a 2022 Seminoles defensive player who appeared in all 13 games, having recorded 15 tackles, including 6.0 for loss with 2.0 sacks, and one quarterback hurry. He was also Freshman Honorable Mention All-American by College Football News, Devaughn Darling Defensive Freshman of the Year, an All-ACC Academic Team member, and a Seminole Scholar. Prior to playing for Florida State, he was a four-star prospect who helped the Gadsden County Jaguars reach the semifinal round of 2020 Florida Class 4A state playoffs.
