The NFL Draft generates around 45 trillion words of content about quarterbacks each year. These quarterbacks are crucial for franchises looking to win a Super Bowl, but predicting which college quarterbacks will succeed in the NFL is difficult. A possible method for identifying NFL success includes analyzing statistical performance in specific situations such as against top-50 defenses, passes in third- and fourth-down situations, and in the red zone. Only two quarterbacks with scores below their class average have gone on to have successful NFL careers: Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. The 2023 draft class rankings suggest that Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud are the top two quarterbacks, although their overall scores rank only 26th all-time.
