Cam Newton Caught in Altercation at Youth Football Tournament
Recently, a video surfaced showing former NFL MVP Cam Newton involved in a scuffle at a 7-on-7 youth football tournament in Atlanta.
In the video, Newton, known for his custom-made hats, is seen being shoved by three individuals before the altercation is broken up by a policeman and event security.
Despite the chaos, Newton does not throw any punches and appears to be defending himself against the three men.
The reason behind the altercation remains unclear.
Newton, a product of Atlanta, runs the C1N organization, which focuses on developing young athletes' football skills through 7-on-7 tournaments and other events.
His 15-and-under team emerged victorious at the tournament in question.
Efforts to contact Newton's representatives on the matter were unsuccessful.
Newton, who last played in the NFL in 2021, enjoyed an illustrious career with over 32,000 passing yards and 194 touchdowns, along with 75 rushing touchdowns.
