April 28, 2023 by CFB Report Leave a Comment

Former Tennessee player Amari McNeill has confirmed his transfer to play football for Deion Sanders at Colorado in 2023. McNeill recorded three tackles and one pass deflection over six games during his stint at Tennessee. A former 3-star OT, McNeill’s large size at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds could prove useful for Colorado in the coming years, particularly after more than 20 players left the program following the spring game. Sanders aims to change the culture of the team and put the Buffaloes on a winning trajectory after finishing the 2022 season with a 1-11 record.

April 28, 2023 by CFB Report Leave a Comment

The NFL draft has seen three members of Ohio State University’s class of 2021, C.J. Stroud, Paris Johnson Jr. and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, have their lives changed forever. Meanwhile, 4 national analysts from 247Sports have conducted a 32-pick draft to settle the debate on the best players in college football next season, with USC quarter-back Caleb Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr. and JT Tuimoloau, three Buckeyes getting selected. Furthermore, On3 conducted an NIL survey and concluded that Ohio State’s Cohesion Foundation had a noteworthy representation of female athletes, differentiating them from other collectives. Ohio State football and men’s basketball are important, but Ohio State’s female athletes and athletes from other Olympic sports deserve to benefit from their name, image and likeness while they can, and Cohesion has stood out for acknowledging that.

Why the Detroit Lions Should Consider Drafting Georgia’s Star Tight End – Find Out Why!

April 27, 2023 by CFB Report Leave a Comment

The Detroit Lions should consider drafting tight end Darnell Washington from Georgia despite the team’s recent track record with tight ends, according to an analysis. NFL draft evaluators haven’t ranked Washington first due to his value being entirely scheme-dependent, but his abilities could make him an ideal choice for the Lions. His wide frame and giant hands make him an ideal target for a pass-focused game, and his athleticism challenges linebackers and safeties alike. Additionally, his blocking abilities could help unlock dynamic possibilities in both the passing and running game of Detroit. While Washington’s ceiling likely lies as a secondary option in a team’s passing attack, acquiring him would open up options in the playbook that would offer another pass-catching option out of a jumbo set. Although he is unlikely to make it to Detroit’s first second-round pick, the Lions have the draft picks necessary to maneuver around or trade up to select him.

Is Utah’s Dalton Kincaid the Next NFL Tight End Superstar?

April 27, 2023 by CFB Report Leave a Comment

Utah tight end Dalton Kincaid could potentially be a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft due to his skills as an athletic tight end with great route running and contested catch abilities. He would need work as a blocker, but as his strengths are more in line with modern day mismatches rather than traditional tight end roles, this is a lesser concern. Kincaid’s recent mock draft projections have him landing with the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, or Cincinnati Bengals. His success as a rookie and potential fantasy impact will depend on his landing spot.
