ESPN Announces Exciting Doubleheader Saturday NFL Schedule
ESPN has made an exciting announcement regarding their broadcast schedule for Week 18. They will be hosting two crucial primetime games as part of their 'Doubleheader Saturday.' The first game will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers, who currently have a record of 9-7, against their AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, who are 13-3. This game will kick off at 4:30pm ET. Following that, the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts, both with a record of 9-7, will face off in Indiana at 8:15pm ET.
On Thursday, ESPN announced that they will be airing a special edition of NFL Countdown at 3pm ET, as well as in between the two games. The show will include Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, Robert Griffin III, Marcus Spears, Adam Schefter, and Michelle Beisner-Buck.
The broadcast team for the Steelers vs. Ravens game at M&T Bank Stadium will consist of Chris Fowler, Louis Riddick, and Dan Orlovsky. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be calling the game at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Texans vs. Colts matchup.
In terms of playoff scenarios, the Steelers would need a win on Saturday, as well as several other outcomes, including a loss for the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a tie between the Texans and Colts, in order to secure a playoff spot. The Texans and Colts, on the other hand, simply need a win to guarantee their place in the playoffs. Indy could also make it with a tie, as long as the Steelers and Jaguars both lose.
This is an exciting lineup of games that will keep football fans on the edge of their seats. Tune in to ESPN for a thrilling 'Doubleheader Saturday'!
