Former NFL Head Coach Joe Philbin Joins Las Vegas Raiders Coaching Staff
Experience continues to be added to Antonio Pierce’s staff as the new full-time Las Vegas Raiders head coach brings on former NFL head coach Joe Philbin. Philbin will serve as a senior offensive assistant coach, joining a staff that includes former Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis and is expected to receive advice from Tom Coughlin.
Philbin brings a wealth of experience, having served as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2012-15 and as the interim head coach of the Green Bay Packers. His 19 seasons as an NFL coach include time with the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State.
Having previously been with the Green Bay Packers alongside some current Raiders staff members, Philbin adds a familiar face to the mix. His ties to defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, wide receiver coach Edgar Bennett, and star wide receiver Davante Adams provide a valuable connection to the team.
As the Raiders continue to bolster their coaching staff, the addition of Philbin underscores Antonio Pierce’s commitment to bringing in experienced minds to guide the team. With a combined wealth of knowledge and expertise, the coaching staff is poised to help lead the Raiders to success in the upcoming season.
