LSU Running Back Trey Holly Arrested on Felony Charges Including Attempted Murder

Discover the latest news surrounding LSU running back Trey Holly, who was arrested on three felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder. Holly turned himself in and is currently being held on a $512,000 bond. LSU has suspended him indefinitely from all team activities.

Reports indicate that Holly was involved in a shooting incident that resulted in two injuries, stemming from earlier altercations at a set of apartment buildings. The investigation found that multiple shooters fired rounds during the incident.

Despite just finishing his freshman season with the Tigers, Holly showcased his talent on the field with 11 carries for 110 yards and one touchdown. His performance earned him the opportunity to preserve his redshirt eligibility by playing in only three games.

Having signed with LSU in 2023 out of Union Parish High School, Holly was a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 39 running back in his class. He started his varsity football career in eighth grade and holds the all-time high school rushing record in Louisiana with an impressive 10,523 yards.
