Michigan Lands Commitment from 4-Star EDGE Julius Holly from Georgia
Another big win has come on the recruiting trail for Michigan. EDGE Julius Holly from Alpharetta (Ga.) High made the commitment to Michigan over other top programs like Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M. Holly recently visited Michigan and felt right at home in Ann Arbor.
Having developed a strong relationship with U-M defensive line coach Lou Esposito, Holly found common ground with the coach, as they both hail from New Jersey. This connection played a key role in his decision to commit to the Wolverines.
Ranked as the No. 25 EDGE nationally and No. 236 overall prospect by On3, Holly is also listed as the No. 29 recruit in Georgia this recruiting cycle.
Michigan's 2025 recruiting class now boasts 13 commits, including standout players like defensive back Kainoa Winston, defensive lineman Nate Marshall, quarterback Carter Smith, and running back Donovan Johnson. The class currently ranks No. 14 nationally and fifth in the Big Ten.
The efforts on the recruiting trail seem to be paying off for Michigan, as they continue to secure commitments from top-tier talent. The Wolverines are building a strong foundation for the future of their program.
