In a recent development, the sons of Pittsburgh Steelers legends Jerome Bettis, Plaxico Burress, and Ike Taylor have made the decision to play football at the University of Notre Dame. Elijah Burress, Ivan Taylor, and Jerome Bettis Jr. took to social media to announce their commitment, showcasing their Notre Dame gear alongside their fathers.

Notre Dame's 2025 recruiting class, which includes Ivan Taylor as a four-star safety and Jerome Bettis Jr. and Elijah Burress as three-star wide receiver recruits, is currently ranked second according to 247 Sports.

Jerome Bettis, Plaxico Burress, and Ike Taylor were once teammates on the Steelers during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Jerome Bettis, a former Notre Dame player himself, graduated from the university in 2022 after re-enrolling in 2020 to complete his degree.
