Tennessee Men's Basketball Clinches SEC Title, Set to Face Kentucky on Senior Day!

The fourth-ranked Tennessee men's basketball team secured the SEC regular season championship with a victory over South Carolina on Wednesday night, marking their sixth outright title. Senior Day at Food City Center is set to feature a matchup against 15th-ranked Kentucky on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

Leading the way with 26 points, fifth-year guard Dalton Knecht propelled Tennessee to a win against South Carolina, their third consecutive victory against AP top-25 opponents. Head coach Rick Barnes notched his 100th SEC win and guided the Volunteers to their second regular season crown in seven seasons.

In addition to the basketball game, Tennessee baseball is scheduled to face Illinois at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. Fans are advised to arrive early and avoid Todd Helton Dr./Chamique Holdsclaw Dr. for parking due to baseball traffic. Using Men's Basketball parking permits for both events is recommended.
