Warner Robins Defensive End Commits to University of Georgia
Antwann Hill Jr., a Houston County native, recently committed to Memphis, but another Central Georgia recruit has made his college decision. Isaiah Gibson, a Warner Robins defensive end, chose to stay close to home and commit to the University of Georgia.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 245 pounds, Gibson made his commitment after a visit to Athens. He had previously committed to USC but later decommitted and chose the Bulldogs over other top teams.
Ranked as the top edge player in Georgia and the 17th player in the 2025 recruiting class, Gibson brings a high level of athleticism and size to the Bulldogs. His 7-foot wingspan and 10-inch hands give him an advantage on the field.
A dominant force for the Demons, Gibson led the team in sacks and quarterback pressures last season. While he excelled in high school, he may need to refine his techniques to succeed at the college level.
Joining other five-star recruits at Georgia, Gibson adds depth to the defensive lineup. With a big season ahead, he aims to help lead the Demons to success in their new classification.
As the Bulldogs continue recruiting, the addition of Gibson solidifies their defense and sets the stage for a competitive season ahead. Stay tuned for more updates on Georgia's recruiting efforts.
